The VP Clinical Operations is responsible for the overall clinical and call center operations of the health plan. The VP is responsible for meeting all cost of care targets, delivery of operationally efficient services, and achievement of customer contractual requirements across all product lines.
Specific responsibilities include: Accountability for maximizing cost of care opportunities including the management of clinical guidelines and operational processes across all products; accountability for all accounts including the operational impact on cost of care and implementation of new products; and developing and delivering the clinical value proposition to customers.
Requirements include at least ten years in health care with experience in utilization management as well as call center operational management; at least five years experience at the senior management level in the managed health care industry. Successful track record in managing budgets with a proven ability to identify new UM programs and processes to support continuous improvement within our clinical and service operations results.
