The French Group has been retained by one of our premier clients, a national, dynamic managed care organization, to assist in the selection of a talented physician executive.
Our client, a well-respected and profitable health plan is seeking to add an experienced hands-on Medical Director to their team. The Senior Medical Director will serve as a proactive clinical expert to provide excellent leadership within prior authorization, retrospective claims review, benefit interpretations, case management, appeals, and grievances: The Senior Medical Director will also be responsible for establishing positive relationships with network providers and hospital partners.
The Senior Medical Director will report to the Vice President of Medical Affairs, a low-key, well respected physician executive with a great sense of humor and a heart of gold. The executive team of this organization is not only quite talented but is respectful of one another and has a passion for making a difference.
Requirements:
MD/DO with active, unrestricted license and current board certification required. MBA, MPH or MHA preferred.
Successful track record as a Medical Director in the managed care industry and exceptional communication skills required.
Ability to motivate others to excel and ability to work in a highly-matrixed, fast paced environment.
