POSITION SUMMARY
This newly created position has overall responsibility for provider payment innovation reporting and analytics strategy. The Director will collaborate cross functionally to create tools and solutions to support value-based provider payment arrangement initiatives and patient-centered care programs. She/he will partner with IT to build required solutions and serve as the technical subject matter expert in leading the development of complex analytic and reporting tools. This includes directing all aspects of solution delivery, including requirements definition, design, software development and deployment. The Director will oversee a talented team of managers and analysts and will report to an SVP.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS
BA/BS required; MBA preferred with a minimum 6 years of experience in program management or product management in healthcare informatics. The ideal candidate must have knowledge of provider profiling and contracting analytics; an understanding of reimbursement concepts and their application; and have experience in overseeing product delivery end to end from a business standpoint. Experience in agile development methodology preferred. She/he must also possess the following: demonstrated leadership skills and ability to influence decisions in a matrix environment; ability to think creatively and contribute to both strategic and tactical decisions; strong analytic acumen, aptitude to define complex problems and creatively frame solutions; working knowledge of iterative software development methods; and excellent communication and presentation skills. Must be a team player with a solid work ethic and unwavering accountability.
