VICE PRESIDENT HEALTH PLAN SOLUTIONS – Asheville, NC

POSITION SUMMARY

The VP Health Plan Solutions is an experienced health plan operations executive who will be expected to generate significant impact through the strategic and tactical direction of a health benefits company.  This position will report directly to the SVP of Health Plan Solutions and will serve as a member of the executive team.  The VP Health Plan Solutions will have oversight of Provider Network Operations, Contracting, Provider Practice Improvement, Accreditation, Compliance, Medical Cost Management and all strategic external vendor relationships.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE DESIRED

This is a highly visible and strategic position requiring exceptional leadership skills and substantial experience in health plan or integrated clinical network operations. The VP Health Plan Solutions is a critical business leader thus requiring superior interpersonal, negotiation, influencing and presentation skills. The successful candidate will have a creative mind with an entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for making a difference. A proven track record for product development and performance improvement is strongly preferred.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in a business discipline required; advanced degree is highly preferred.
