CEO HOSPICE Hybrid–Ideally Ohio, Indiana, Maryland or West Virginia
Unique opportunity for talented Hospice Executive to lead a growing multi-state Hospice organization affiliated with one of the nation’s leaders in post-acute care. Ideally, the CEO will be based in OH, WV, MD or IN or have experience working in those markets but talent and commitment take precedence over location.
The CEO will be responsible for the design, development and implementation of a business plan and growth strategy for new and existing markets while providing strategic leadership and operational direction. The successful candidate will be an entrepreneurial, nimble and innovative leader with an unwavering commitment and passion for making a difference with this most special patient population.
Selected Responsibilities:
· Provides leadership and oversight of the executive team ensuring the achievement of financial, operational and strategic plans with a focus on excellence.
· Leads the formation of Hospice vision and strategic plans and facilitates the development and implementation of integrated clinical service delivery platforms across the division.
· Develops and implements company growth and expansion strategies.
· Evaluates effectiveness of Hospice operations and integration with other Company operations and assists in the development or expansion of products and services.
· Assures maintenance of existing clinical programs and development of new clinical programming including palliative care initiatives
· Ensures organizational compliance with all applicable state and federal regulatory requirements and accreditation standards.
Selected Candidate Requirements:
· Master’s Degree in Health Administration (MHA) or a related field preferred. An equivalent amount of relevant work experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. Clinical licensure desirable.
· 8+ years of executive leadership experience in a hospice or palliative care organization; start-up and P&L experience preferred.
· Experience with state and federal hospice regulations and compliance standards.
· Advanced business and executive leadership skills to develop new or enhance existing clinical and operational strategies, business plans, policies, and programs.
· Proven success in leading and mentoring high-performance teams in a collaborative, shared leadership environment.
· Demonstrated ability to establish positive relationships and work effectively with all internal and external constituencies, including staff, volunteers, donors, community leaders and board members.
