Our client, a regional managed care organization, is seeking to add an experienced hands-on Medical Director to their team. The Medical Director will serve as a proactive clinical expert to provide excellent leadership within Prior Authorization, Retrospective Claims Review, Benefit Interpretations, Case Management, Appeals, and Grievances: The Medical Director will also be responsible for establishing positive relationships with network providers and hospital partners.
Requirements:
MD/DO with active, unrestricted license and current board certification required. MBA, MPH or MHA preferred.
Successful track record as a medical director in the managed care industry and exceptional communication skills required. Ability to motivate others to excel and ability to work in a highly-matrixed, fast paced environment.
