Established and growing regional health plan is seeking a talented leader to head their Provider Relations Division. This division encompasses provider relations, network expansion and network operation liaison functions. The Director Provider Affairs is responsible for all long-range planning to ensure quality and cost effective provider network, provider relations, physician recruiting and operational activities. This Director will also develop strategic and tactical direction for all physician, facility and ancillary contracting in new and existing service areas.
The successful candidate will be a visionary leader with the ability to inspire others to excel, especially in a highly matrixed environment. . This candidate will also have at least 5 years strategic operational experience in managed care network development. Bachelor's degree required; Master's preferred. Strong communication and negotiation skills required.
